PEDIGREE :

Sire Rivale d’Or was imported from Belgium and produced to International A Grade by Lynda Rabie. Rivale d’Or only stood at stud for a couple of years in South Africa before being exported back to Belgium. From a very limited number of mares, Rivale d’Or produced some super horses like Lorelock Rivaldo d’Or, Capital Rafika d’Or, Waikiki d’Or, Apollo d’Or, Bamboo de Rival, Galway Remmington and Capital Rattler d’Or. Grand Veneur (sire of Sioux de Baugy) went to stud in 1976 and produced over 300 offspring that jumped in CSO shows with amateur riders, plus more than 80 approved stallions. Skippy II is by the amazing Galoubet A, sire of Baloubet de Rouet (Rodrigo Pessoa) winner of the World Cup Final three consecutive years.

Lady de Baugy is out of Berenice, who is the full sister of the approved stallion, Uriel (top producer in France) and Dirka, (successful in sport with Nelson Pessoa and the dam of world renowned showjumper and sire, Quidam de Revel). Wunderbar is not only the sire of the stallions U-R Wunderbar and Eagle’s Warrior but also the A Grade showjumpers Wunderfrau, Wunderkind and Wundervogel (sire).

Besides Rivatello d’Or, Laizzes Faire, produced Beluga (A Grade showjumper); Branic Enchantress (talented young showjumper) and the stallions Branic Bellini d’Or and Principal Laurence.

PERFORMANCE:

Rivatello d’Or has just started his showjumping career and is currently jumping C Grade (120 cm classes). He is a very easy to ride, willing in his work, and jumps with very good front leg technique, round in the back and with more than enough scope

PROGENY:

Rivatello will stand his first season at stud from 2009.
